My visit to Darjeeling .West Bengal 

It was one of my  long cherished wishes to visit this  nature's wonderful place and when I went to Kolkata to visit my close  family members in October 2016, finally this dream was materialised .So I took a night train from Kolkata Railway station to Siliguri also called New Jalpaiguri now and reached Silguri early morning at 7.15 am on 17th October

The scene at the  station area is a chaotic  ..like Tower of Babel..cacphony of sounds and screams from food stall vendors lined up along the walk way of the station and Jeeps and vehicles of all sizes and makes are lined up in every little space left waiting for the journey up in the mountain.
